What is the Errera Community Care Center?

Affiliated with the VA Hospital in West Haven, CT, the Errera Community Care Center is located just a few blocks from the University of New Haven.

The Center has been nationally recognized as the model center for helping veterans all over the United States.  It provides unique services to veterans of all ages who are homeless or who are struggling with any issues such as PTSD, substance abuse, mental illness, family problems and other issues.

Veterans are assisted on a long term or short-term basis by being placed into transitional and permanent housing, learning job skills, partaking in health and wellness programs, giving and receiving peer support with other veterans and ultimately, by becoming strong and independent again

While the Errera Center is affiliated with the VA Hospital - food, household items, and personal items are not funded by the VA, so donations are desperately needed and greatly appreciated. Donations are tax-deductible.
